I’m Sally Wanless — a creative director, visual storyteller, and brand strategist working at the intersection of artistry, business, and human behaviour. I help organisations and individuals make sense of who they are and how they communicate, translating complex ideas into clear, meaningful stories that build trust and resonance.
I began my career as a photographer, pitching projects at 19 to Marriott Hotels in the U.S., and my work has since been exhibited internationally — including Times Square, Art Basel Miami, and the Louvre — and acquired by companies such as Breather Inc. That foundation in making and craft continues to shape how I think: ideas matter most when they are felt, understood, and lived.
Alongside my artistic practice, I’ve spent over a decade working across brand strategy, creative direction, and storytelling with clients across industries, including Universal Television. My work often involves helping teams clarify purpose, align narrative, and communicate with coherence — whether through brand identity, visual systems, or leadership-led conversations around meaning, value, and trust.
I’m inherently multidisciplinary: photography, illustration, design, and strategy all inform how I work. Rather than separating creativity and business, I’m interested in how they reinforce one another — and how everyday experiences, language, and decisions quietly shape brand equity over time.
I’m always open to thoughtful collaborations, leadership conversations, and projects that value clarity as much as craft, and curiosity as much as execution.
